Judge throws out noise complaint against preacher … again!
City of Kennewick, Washington, now has been defeated by evangelist twice
For the second time, the city of Kennewick, Washington, is a loser in a fight with an evangelist over his messages, delivered to anyone willing to listen.
Officials with Pacific Justice Institute revealed this week that a district judge in Benton County had dismissed a criminal charge against Eric Schonbachler, an evangelist who preaches regularly outside of a Planned Parenthood business.
The judge said the city’s noise ordinance unconstitutionally restrains speech.
Schonbachler travels to various communities to preach, and is a regular in Kennewick.
